Develop concepts, algorithms and open-source scientific software for quantum many-body systems at the Flatiron Institute’s Center for Computational Quantum Physics. Research connects condensed matter, materials, quantum emulators and theoretical chemistry. Fellows publish results, collaborate across institutions and contribute to student mentoring. The initial full-time appointment lasts two years, with a possible third year subject to performance, and normally starts between August and November 2027.

Requirements
PhD in a relevant field and evidence of original theoretical or computational research. Relevant expertise includes algorithms, scientific software, modelling, data analysis, machine learning or high-performance computing. Submit a CV with publications, a research statement of up to four pages and three recommendation letters.
