About
Four-year funded PhD contract investigating mechanisms that turn chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy into chronic pain. Experiments use mouse models and human-derived nociceptive neurons, with calcium imaging, electrophysiology, optogenetics, immunohistochemistry and behavioural assays. The planned start is March 2027. Applicants submit a CV, academic records, motivation and career goals, relevant experience and at least one referee contact to the named investigators.
Requirements
Master’s degree in neuroscience, biology or a related field; interest in sensory neuroscience, fluent English, and strong quantitative and analytical skills.
