Coherent neutrino–nucleus scattering accesses reactor antineutrinos below the inverse-beta-decay threshold. Reconstructing their spectrum requires unfolding nuclear recoils. A method adapted from dark-matter searches avoids hand-tuned regularization and matches standard techniques on simulated cryogenic germanium data. A relativistic multiplayer outreach game may also be discussed.

FAIR motivates predictions for dense QCD, where non-Hermitian Dirac operators cause the lattice sign problem. Analytic and numerical methods from non-Hermitian physics reveal how CK symmetry produces a moat regime near a critical point. The talk considers its temperature-density range and experimental signatures.

HIAF’s Hyperon–Nucleon Spectrometer targets hyperons, hypernuclei and nucleon polarization at 3–32 GeV. Its barrel-and-endcap tracker uses MIC6 monolithic pixel sensors and lightweight construction for precise secondary vertices with minimal scattering. The presentation covers resolution and material targets, Monte Carlo optimization of geometry and supports, and production facilities for module assembly and testing.
