Capturing Proteins in Motion examines how structural biology can resolve dynamic and disordered proteins. The programme combines NMR, ion-mobility mass spectrometry, cryo-electron microscopy and crystallography, with research on protein complexes, membrane interactions, RNA-binding proteins and host–parasite recognition. Short talks selected from abstracts and poster presentations complement invited lectures. Organized by Simon Newstead and Rachael Wilkinson. The meeting runs on 11 December, with registration at 10:30 and close at 18:15. Registration costs GBP 80 including refreshments, lunch and the evening poster session; capacity is 120. Short-talk abstracts are due 20 November at 17:00 and registration closes 26 November at 17:00 UK time.

The meeting examines time-resolved crystallography, particularly metalloproteins and complementary approaches. Sessions cover experimental facilities, serial-crystallography data reduction, refinement of ensembles and partial states, emerging experimental methods and complementary computation. The programme includes the Diamond MX User Meeting, a keynote and panel on challenges in time-resolved crystallography, a poster session, software updates and practical lunchtime sessions. Attend in Nottingham or online free of charge. The Diamond meeting begins at 11:00 on 6 January; the Study Weekend starts at 17:30 and ends at 16:30 on 8 January. Travel-bursary applications close 31 October 2026; early registration ends 15 November; in-person registration closes 6 December or earlier if full; online registration closes 8 January.

A symposium on conformational design in small-molecule drug discovery, connecting computational prediction with NMR solution conformations and protein–ligand structures from crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy. Topics include generative models, free-energy calculations, ligand rigidification and physicochemical optimisation for protein-interaction inhibitors, PROTACs, molecular glues and antibody–drug-conjugate payloads. Intended for medicinal and computational chemists, structural biologists, biophysicists and NMR specialists; prior conformational-design experience is unnecessary. Oral and poster abstracts are due 11 December 2026. Registration has not yet opened.
