Operated by Science Communication World Wide, e.V. (SCW)
1. Introduction
In line with our mission to revolutionize global scientific communication and promote the seamless flow of knowledge, world-wide.org welcomes collaborations and partnerships with diverse entities. This policy lays out the criteria, obligations, and terms of these partnerships to ensure mutual growth and value addition.
2. Criteria for Collaboration & Partnership

- Reputation & Credibility: The entity should have a proven track record in its domain and should adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Mutual Benefit: The collaboration should be mutually beneficial, enabling both parties to leverage each other's strengths and capabilities.
3. Obligations
- Transparency: All collaborations should be transparent. Any financial or in-kind contributions, expectations, or obligations should be explicitly stated and agreed upon by both parties.
- Respect for Autonomy: While we aim for close collaboration, world-wide.org and the partnering entity shall respect each other's autonomy in decision-making and operations.
- Commitment to Open Access: Given our emphasis on open access, entities we partner with should either support or respect our open-access ethos.
- Adherence to Data Protection: Both parties must adhere to stringent data protection regulations to ensure the security and confidentiality of shared data.
4. Terms of Partnership
- Duration: The duration of the partnership will be mutually decided and can be project-specific or long-term.
- Review & Termination: The collaboration will be subject to periodic reviews to ensure it meets the objectives. Either party can propose modifications or, if necessary, terminate the partnership with prior notice.
- Intellectual Property: Any intellectual property arising from the partnership will be mutually owned, unless otherwise specified.
- Dispute Resolution: In the event of any disagreements or disputes, both parties commit to resolving them amicably. If required, the Arbitration Court, as mentioned in our statutes, can be approached for resolution.
- Public Communication: Public communications regarding the partnership should be mutually agreed upon. Neither party should make unilateral statements that might affect the other party's reputation or operations.
5. Implementation & Monitoring
Once a partnership is formalized, a joint committee comprising members from world-wide.org and the partnering entity will be formed to oversee the collaboration's implementation and ensure adherence to this policy.
