About
Integrate and demonstrate human–robot collaboration technologies in industrial and new civilian settings. Scope includes safety, task allocation, ergonomics, extended reality, localisation and digital twins. Topic 2.1 funds projects up to €250,000; Topic 2.2 up to €170,000. Projects run for ten months from January 2027, with three milestone-linked payments. Submit the mandatory proposal and budget through F6S by 4 November 2026 at 17:00 Brussels time. Apply as a consortium with at least one SME; universities and research organisations may hold no more than 30% of the budget. UK and Swiss entities are excluded under the call’s country rules.

Entities must be established in EU member states, linked OCTs or Horizon Europe associated countries under the call’s 15 September 2023 list, valid at the November 2023 grant agreement. Consortia of 2–3 legal entities, including at least one SME. Topic 2.1 requires three entities across at least two eligible countries; Topic 2.2 requires two and allows one country. Startups, SMEs, mid-caps, universities and RTOs qualify. University/RTO share is capped at 30%; lifetime FORTIS funding per legal entity is capped at €200,000.
