Help organisers of smaller neuroscience meetings include speakers from underrepresented backgrounds. Eligible 2027 symposia, workshops and short courses must take place in person or in hybrid format and incorporate diversity and inclusion. Applications close on 30 September 2026 at 23:59 CEST.

Covers: Pays speaker travel and accommodation, excluding honoraria, dinners and promotional materials. Total regional ceilings: Africa and US/Canada USD 3,000; Latin America USD 4,500; Asia-Pacific and Pan-Europe USD 5,000.

US and Canadian organisers can only request support for underrepresented speakers residing in the US/Canada region.

Any organiser of a qualifying smaller neuroscience event may apply; IBRO membership is unnecessary. Recipients of IBRO Equitable Meeting Awards cannot receive this support in the same year.
