Zurich, Switzerland
Job Description
Develop optical systems for biofabrication at ETH Zurich’s Institute for Biomechanics. The researcher will design and build optical and beam-shaping systems, study the interaction of structured light with photosensitive polymers, and collaborate with bioengineers, chemists and biologists on scaffolds for regenerative medicine. This full-time postdoctoral position is funded for 1.5 years. The current vacancy accepts online applications without a stated closing date; provide a CV, publication list and references.
Requirements
- PhD in optical engineering
- photonics
- applied physics
- electrical engineering with optics emphasis
- or a related discipline
- practical laser beam-shaping and phase-modulation experience
