About
The Future Health Technologies 2 programme seeks a doctoral researcher to develop deep-learning models that predict personalised hip-fracture risk from bone-density and CT scans. Research will extend predictions to repeated imaging and future bone-ageing trajectories, and validate them against biomechanical simulations and observed fractures. This full-time position is employed in Singapore under local regulations, with an ETH Zurich doctorate and funding for up to four years.
The intended start is 1 December 2026, with flexibility. The employer permits up to two home-working days per week. Apply through the official portal with a project-specific motivation letter, CV, two referees and university transcripts. No closing date is advertised.
Requirements
MSc in a quantitative discipline; machine learning, medical image analysis, Python and neural-network experience; collaborative software development and English. Biomechanics and HPC experience are advantageous.
