Project Scientist appointment on a Cure Parkinson’s UK-funded study of metabolic dysregulation and neuroprotection in Parkinson’s disease. The research uses cellular and animal models together with molecular, biochemical and biophysical methods. The project runs for three years, beginning with a six-month appointment and continuation dependent on satisfactory performance. Applicants must be available from 1 November 2026. The advert states consolidated monthly pay of INR 100,000, with no separate housing allowance.
Requirements
PhD in a life-science discipline, a first-class postgraduate degree and at least three years of postdoctoral experience with strong molecular-biology expertise. The advertised age limit is 50. Mammalian cell culture, mouse experiments, viral production, transgenic cell lines and strong publications are desirable.
