Postdoctoral Researcher, Memory Research Unit

Study how memory remains stable through physiological changes and network reorganisation in Kazumasa Z. Tanaka’s Memory Research Unit. Projects address hippocampal memory representations, artificial hibernation states and synaptic remodelling using large-scale recording, imaging, behavioural and ultrastructural methods. The researcher develops independent projects and contributes to analysis, publications and mentoring. The full-time appointment initially lasts two years, starting as early as possible after October 2026; expected annual salary is JPY 4.6–5.9 million.
