About

Assistant Project Scientist in the structural biology of microtubule motors and regulatory proteins. The researcher will develop experiments and analyses involving molecular biology, biochemical reconstitution, cryo-electron microscopy sample preparation and imaging, single-particle structure determination using Relion and Cryosparc, and molecular model building. Work includes coordinating collaborations, preparing manuscripts and figures, contributing to grants, maintaining laboratory resources and mentoring trainees.

The published salary range is USD 79,400–119,500, with possible additional salary components. Applications continue until 30 November 2026; those submitted after the August review date are considered if the position remains unfilled.

Requirements

PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology or a related field and at least five years of postdoctoral training. First-author structural biology/biophysics publications and competence in protein purification, assembly reconstitution and single-particle cryo-EM.
