About

Doctoral research on ionic-liquid electrolytes inside nanoporous carbon electrodes. Use NMR and computational modelling to study ion confinement, transport and charge storage in batteries and supercapacitors. Employment covers up to four years of full-time doctoral study, with renewable contracts and departmental duties limited to 20%. Applications close at midnight CET/CEST at the end of 1 October 2026.

Requirements

Relevant master’s degree, or 240 higher-education credits including 60 at advanced level, or equivalent knowledge; English equivalent to B/6. Applicants must not already hold a PhD and must not have lived or mainly worked/studied in Sweden for more than 12 months in the preceding three years. NMR experience is advantageous. Submit CV, a maximum two-page application letter, certified qualifications and language evidence, and representative publications or reports.
