About
A two-year, full-time postdoctoral role associated with the PEARL beamline at the Swiss Light Source. Develop theoretical models of the atomic and electronic structure of altermagnetic materials, connecting calculations with XPS/ARPES photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning tunnelling microscopy. Maintain computational tools, collaborate with experimental and theoretical partners, help with light-source experiments, and publish and present the results.
Requirements
PhD in physics or a related field; expertise in modelling condensed-matter systems and surfaces; strong programming and high-performance-computing skills; successful first-author publications; and fluent English.
