Join Brian Reville’s Astrophysical Plasma Theory Group for an initial two-year appointment. Use analytical and numerical methods in high-energy particle and astroparticle physics to investigate how next-generation gamma-ray instruments can constrain dark-matter candidates. Develop predictions for observations across wavelengths, interpret results and prepare scientific publications. Remuneration follows Germany’s TVöD public-sector agreement.
Requirements
PhD in astrophysics, particle physics or a related field; knowledge of particle/astroparticle physics, cosmology and physics beyond the Standard Model; C, Fortran or Python experience; and fluent English.
