Investigate RNA-polymerase structure and dynamics in the Dutagaci Lab, including elongation factors and links to human disease. The NIH-funded project combines standard and enhanced-sampling molecular dynamics with machine learning. Contribute publications, conference presentations and student mentoring. The initial appointment is two years, with possible extension to five years depending on funding and performance. The anticipated start is 15 October 2026. Requirements
PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, biology, physics or a related subject; Linux, programming, molecular-dynamics software and a publication record. Machine-learning and biomolecular-simulation experience are preferred. Existing US work authorization is required; the employer cannot currently sponsor a new H-1B for an applicant residing abroad.
