The Royal Society of Chemistry supports chemistry engagement with school and public audiences, including projects that improve chemists’ communication skills, reach under-represented communities, connect families with chemistry, and build useful partnerships. Awards are £500–£10,000. Applicants must be 18 or older and be UK or Republic of Ireland residents with a local address and bank account, or represent an organisation registered there. Projects must have substantial chemical-sciences content; unsuccessful applications cannot be resubmitted without invitation. Applications are open. The final round closes on 2 October 2026 at 17:00 UK time (BST). Submit through the linked RSC application portal. Awards must start after the outcome is communicated, normally within seven weeks of the deadline; projects must finish by 23 November 2027, with evaluation by 7 December 2027.
