LARIM2026: Latin-America Regional IAU Meeting
The eighteenth Latin American Regional IAU Meeting convenes astronomy researchers for a broad scientific programme in Cancún. UNAM’s Instituto de Astronomía and Instituto de Radioastronomía y Astrofísica organize the meeting with INAOE. Abstract submissions and IAU travel-grant requests have closed. Registration without a scientific contribution and late payment remain available until 20 October 2026; the fee increases after 21 September.
NASA Hubble Fellowship Program — Class of 2027
The NASA Hubble Fellowship Program supports independent research in astronomy, physics and related disciplines at eligible US host institutions. Support includes salary and benefits for up to three years and an allowance for research and travel. Applications for the 2027 class are open until 28 October 2026 at 19:00 EDT (23:00 UTC); reference letters are due on 4 November at 19:00 EST. Awards depend on NASA funding. Applicants must consider the programme’s host-institution limits and current selection guidance.
