The annual DNP meeting brings together the nuclear-physics community for research presentations, discussion and early-career participation. The 2026 meeting takes place in Philadelphia from 11–14 October. Registration is available through the organizer’s page. Abstract submission has closed; prospective attendees should consult the live registration and programme information.

This specialist meeting examines atmospheric rivers, their impacts on weather and climate, and their connections to water resources and environmental systems. The conference takes place in Porto on 19–23 October 2026. Registration remains open until 10 October 2026; abstract submission has closed.

OCNS has announced that its annual Computational Neuroscience meeting will take place in Gran Canaria on 10–14 July 2027. The meeting is a specialist forum for theoretical and computational approaches to nervous systems. Limited assistance is available for attendance at the in-person symposium in Montréal on November 13–14, 2026. Send the secretariat a funding rationale of at most 250 words by September 28, 2026 using the email instructions on the organizer’s page. Decisions are due by October 6. Registration and accommodation are separate arrangements; the organizer does not state a fixed bursary amount.

Participation grants for the 2027 IAU General Assembly can support registration, accommodation, travel and childcare. Selection considers the applicant’s scientific contribution, the relevant committee’s abstract assessment, need, career stage and access to other funding. Applications close on 15 January 2027 at 23:59 CET. Submit all abstracts and register before applying through the official platform in English. RAS grants normally contribute £250–£1,000 toward conference or meeting travel, registration and subsistence. Matching-funding applications must be evidenced; student support normally covers at most half the costs. Applicants must provide a submitted or planned talk/poster abstract. Meetings must occur between six weeks and six months after the assessment deadline. Round 2 is for doctoral researchers presenting at in-person conferences between November 2026 and April 2027. Applications close on 4 October 2026 through UCT’s PeopleSoft Student Portal. Awards contribute to travel, registration and conference-day subsistence. Local and specified SADC conference support is capped at ZAR 10,000; the overall maximum is ZAR 32,000.
