Scientific Sessions brings experimental cardiovascular research, translational studies, clinical trials and clinical implementation into one programme. Sessions examine how endothelial dysfunction, inflammatory signalling and platelet biology interact in atherosclerosis; how physiology and patient outcomes can guide coronary revascularization; and how stem cells and biomaterials could produce living vascular replacements for congenital heart disease. Other discussions address cardiovascular gene therapy, precision medicine, trial design and causal inference, cardiometabolic disease, and the role of AI in cardiovascular care. The programme runs on 6–9 November 2026 in Central Standard Time (America/Chicago, UTC−06:00). Friday programming begins at 08:00; the Saturday opening keynote is 08:00–08:35; the Nobel Laureate Address is Sunday 09:45–11:00; the meeting closes Monday at 16:15. Attendance is available in person or virtually. Livestreaming covers selected rooms and sessions, with replays available within 24 hours and through 20 November at 23:59 CST. General nonmember registration costs US$1,499 in person or US$699 virtually; member, early-career and student rates differ. Registration uses an AHA account. Some supplementary symposia require separate registration.

Review cardiac electrophysiology through anatomy, mapping, ablation biophysics and clinical decision-making. Dissection demonstrations relate atrial, annular and ventricular anatomy to arrhythmia mechanisms and procedural approaches. The programme compares radiofrequency and pulsed-field ablation, high-density mapping and practical catheter-ablation cases. A second day addresses cardiac implantable devices, leadless and conduction-system pacing, device troubleshooting and electrogram interpretation. Faculty discussions, workshop demonstrations and audience-response cases connect physiological mechanisms with treatment choices and emerging device technologies. Live online sessions on 14 November 2026 from 09:00 to the 17:25 closing discussion, and 15 November from 09:00 to 14:35, Eastern Standard Time (America/New_York, UTC−5). Virtual attendance is open to practicing healthcare professionals at all levels, including trainees. Registration costs USD 75 for physicians and biomedical, pharmaceutical or medical-device employees, or USD 50 for allied health professionals and trainees. The digital pass provides the live stream, faculty interaction, selected workshop stations and on-demand access; CME credits are available.

The conference explores how muscle architecture coordinates electrical excitation, calcium dynamics and force production. Structural biology, imaging, genomics and computational methods are brought together to investigate excitation–contraction units, transverse tubules, cytoskeletal organization and mitochondrial signalling. Discussion connects molecular mechanisms with organ function and examines how their disruption produces skeletal-muscle and cardiac disease. Translational themes include small molecules, gene therapies and RNA approaches to restoring muscle function. Attendance requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or an accepted equivalent. Applications are subject to selection and available capacity.
