The meeting combines research presentations, posters and practical workshops on fossil preparation and collections methods. Its 2027 symposium examines how preparation and conservation can support education and public engagement from the beginning of a project. Topics include photogrammetry, replica production, three-dimensional printing, teaching collections and travelling exhibits.
Remote participants can access presentations, digital posters and live questions; some workshops also offer remote access, while all are available in person. Abstracts and workshop proposals are due by 23:59 US Central Time on 1 November 2026.
