Arctic Biodiversity Summit 2027

It brings together scientists, policymakers, Indigenous Peoples, youth and other stakeholders to advance biodiversity conservation and knowledge exchange across the Arctic, building on the Arctic Council’s Strategic Plan 2021–2030 and the Actions for Arctic Biodiversity 2025–2035. Themes include individual stressors and cumulative effects of drivers of Arctic biodiversity loss, including the latest knowledge on status and trends; sustainable use of Arctic biodiversity; and enabling conditions for implementing actions. The programme includes sessions, talks and posters, with alternative formats such as storytelling, art-based contributions and workshops.
