About
The Bernstein Conference is the annual meeting at which the Bernstein Network Computational Neuroscience invites the international computational neuroscience community, from students and postdocs to principal investigators, for intensive scientific exchange on new discoveries.
The 2027 edition runs from Wednesday 15 to Saturday 18 September 2027 at the SwissTech Convention Center of the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland, with Wulfram Gerstner (EPFL) as conference host. Panayiota Poirazi (Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas, Greece) is programme chair, Richard Naud (University of Ottawa) programme vice chair and Juan Álvaro Gallego (Champalimaud Foundation) workshop chair. Confirmed speakers are Jayeeta Basu (NYU Grossman School of Medicine), Rafal Bogacz (University of Oxford), Sami El-Boustani (University of Geneva), Wulfram Gerstner (EPFL), Kenneth Harris (University College London), Rishikesh Narayanan (Indian Institute of Science), Lucy Palmer (University of Melbourne), Priyadarshini Panda (University of Southern California), Anna Schapiro (University of Pennsylvania), Vatsala Thirumalai (National Centre for Biological Sciences, India) and Mariya Toneva (Max Planck Institute for Software Systems).
