Tissue Repair and Regeneration
Developmental Biology, Regenerative Medicine and conference by Gordon Research Conferences
About
The meeting examines regeneration as a coordinated biological response involving developmental, immune, mechanical and metabolic signals. Sessions explore injury sensing, repair initiation, fibrosis and loss of tissue function, including the constraints imposed by aging and chronic disease.
Comparisons with organisms capable of extensive regeneration are combined with bioengineering, synthetic biology and quantitative methods to measure, predict and influence repair across organs. Attendance requires a bachelor’s degree in science or engineering, or an accepted equivalent. Applications are subject to selection and available capacity.
