2026 EPS Nuclear Physics Division Lise Meitner Prize

Recognises distinguished contributions to experimental or theoretical nuclear physics and applications of nuclear science. The prize comprises EUR 5,000, a medal and a diploma; the money is shared if several researchers are selected. Nominations close 6 November 2026. Presentation takes place at EuNPC 2027 in Catania, Italy.

Researchers of any nationality are eligible. Only work published in peer-reviewed journals is considered; self-nominations are excluded. Submit the nomination form, achievements statement, CV and major publications, with supporting letters where appropriate.
