Awards recognise independent faculty researchers in life sciences, physical sciences and engineering, and chemistry. Each category laureate receives USD 250,000; finalists receive USD 15,000. Nominations close on 2 December 2026; support letters are due 16 December.

Eligible US institution; joint appointments require at least 50% effort at the nominating institution.

Nominees need a doctorate and a tenured, tenure-track or equivalent faculty appointment at an eligible US institution. Born in 1985 or later; exception requests are due 11 November. No self-nominations. Institutions nominate at most one person per category; approved nominators have additional routes.
