About
Build an interdisciplinary research direction by moving into or out of an ICT research area. The award supports researchers gaining skills and applying their expertise in another discipline.
Eligibility
Covers: Three to 24 months, normally at 80% FEC. Supports lead salary, travel, training, host guidance and consumables; excludes replacement salary at the home institution and equipment above £25,000.
An eligible UK host or lead organisation is required. The discipline hop can include a placement abroad, but the award is held through the UK organisation.
Researchers at EPSRC-eligible UK organisations who propose a discipline hop into or from a supported ICT research area. Standard EPSRC individual eligibility and resubmission rules apply.
