Research visits and fieldwork abroad support collaboration by senior Denmark-based researchers. Applications are accepted throughout the year, at least three months before the activity starts.

Career stage: Mid-career researcher · Established researcher
Apply directly
Covers: Up to DKK 100,000 for travel, accommodation and transport; no per diem. Family-related extra costs only for stays of at least six months.
Host location: Worldwide
Applicant employed in Denmark; activity at a foreign institution or field site.

Associate professors, senior researchers or professors employed at Danish research institutions. This scheme does not fund doctoral students’ fieldwork or research visits. Following rejection, wait three months before reapplying.
