Description
The National Science Foundation's BIO Core solicitation supports fundamental biological research across scales, including the neural basis of cognition. The new solicitation was posted on 17 August 2026, accepts proposals at any time, anticipates 250 to 300 awards, and replaces earlier core-program guidance in the Directorate for Biological Sciences.
