About

The RSNA Research & Education Foundation's Research Scholar Grant supports junior radiology faculty developing an independent research career. It provides up to $100,000 per year ($200,000 in total) for a two-year project, and the principal investigator commits at least 20% effort across the project period unless the Foundation approves otherwise. Applications are due 22 January 2027 at 11:59 p.m. CT. Each eligible institution may submit at most two Research Scholar Grant applications per cycle, so applicants should check their institution's internal selection process first. Proposals aligned with the Foundation's Priority Focus Areas are encouraged; other important and innovative topics also receive full consideration. A quick guide and policies and procedures document are linked from the grant page.
