Investigate molecular mechanisms of virus entry, replication and immune recognition in Leo Hanke’s laboratory at BioClinicum, Karolinska University Hospital. The work uses cryo-electron microscopy to study viral and host proteins, including nanobodies as structural probes. Duties span protein expression and purification, sample preparation, data collection, image processing and structural interpretation. This is a full-time temporary appointment with an individually agreed monthly salary.

Requirements
PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology or a related discipline; practical cryo-EM and protein purification expertise; relevant reconstruction and model-building software; strong English.
