About
Gdańsk University of Technology's Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Department of Sanitary Engineering) is recruiting a research-staff assistant professor (R2) for the Water4All project AQUACLEAR (Water4All/III/8/AQUACLEAR/2026). The research combines hydrodynamic cavitation with advanced oxidation processes (AOP) and advanced reduction processes (ARP) to degrade organic pollutants in the aquatic environment. The postholder will carry out project tasks with the project manager and team, plan and run experiments, analyse results, and prepare manuscripts for leading journals and conference proceedings.
Full-time fixed-term employment contract from 1 January 2027; the competition is planned to close by 25 November 2026. Applications (PhD documents, CV, cover letter, and copies of at least one co-authored publication on cavitation combined with AOP and one on ARP) are emailed with the subject "CavWaterTreatment-2026".
Requirements
PhD in chemical sciences, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or a related field; JCR-listed publications on cavitation for AOP and on ARP research; written and spoken English sufficient to prepare scientific publications.
