Associate Scientist - QC Product testing

Associate Scientist in the Quality Control Product Testing team at Alvotech's Reykjavík headquarters, taking part in the quality control and release of products manufactured at Alvotech. The scientist performs routine analytical testing with liquid chromatography (SEC, APAC, CEX), capillary electrophoresis (iCIEF, CE-SDS) and compendial methods (colour, clarity, subvisible particles, TOC), reviews analytical test records in support of the manufacturing process, prepares buffers and other materials needed for testing, carries out laboratory equipment cleaning, verification, stock management and maintenance, and contributes to the creation and review of quality documents within the quality management system.

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant scientific discipline and 0–1 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector; proficiency with a PC and common Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel; basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and documentation rules is an asset.
