About

Investigate sustainable sodium-ion batteries by designing polymer binders, conductive coatings and inorganic electrode materials. The research connects electrode composition and interfaces with electrochemical performance and recovery, including reversible architectures for disassembly and recycling. Work combines synthesis, electrode fabrication, materials characterization and battery testing with experimental and computational collaborators. The initial appointment is two years. Priority consideration is November 6, 2026.

Requirements

A recent relevant PhD and practical polymer/materials synthesis, composite-electrode fabrication and electrochemical-testing experience. Fewer than three years of paid postdoctoral experience.
