Group Leader in Molecular Infection Medicine

Job Description
Establish an independent research group at the Laboratory for Molecular Infection Medicine Sweden (MIMS). Research may address bacteria, viruses, parasites or the microbiome and their interactions with host immunity. Initial research support covers five years, with extension up to nine years subject to external evaluation. The role includes research leadership, external funding and supervision. The application deadline is 15 September 2026.
Requirements
- Doctorate and relevant postdoctoral training
- normally two to seven years since the doctorate
- with specified extensions for career interruptions. Evidence of research independence and capacity to lead and supervise researchers.
