Job Description
Our lab is looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, and hard-working research assistant to contribute and lead exciting projects related to the development and/or in vivo application (in mouse brain) of state of the art genetically encoded fluorescent sensors to track the release properties of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators in the context of natural and/or maladaptive behaviors.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Biology
- Neuroscience or a related discipline
- Extensive experience with molecular cloning
- mammalian cell culture and fluorescence microscopy (*prior experience with development of optogenetic tools or ex vivo/in vivo research in mour brain will be considered a plus)
- Good knowledge of common platforms used for coding/data analysis (eg. Matlab
- python
- etc)
- Good organizational skills
- attention to details
- reliability
- and ability to work in an diverse team.
- Excellent speaking/writing skills in English
