Job Description

We are inviting applications from highly motivated and talented individuals for our fully-funded PhD programme at the Institute for Advancing Intelligence, TCG CREST. The PhD degree will be conferred by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), an Institute of National Importance, which recently ranked 11th in the NIRF list. Under this PhD Programme, I am particularly looking for full-time PhD students to work in one of the following areas: Privacy and security in speech communication, Speech and audio analytics, Speech processing for healthcare applications. Requirements

Prerequisites (desirable): Strong background in applied mathematics (e.g.
linear algebra
probability & statistics
multivariate calculus
and optimization techniques)
Strong background in signal processing & pattern recognition
Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn and PyTorch
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Good time management skills. Optional Skills (preferred): Prior research (and/or Master’s thesis) experience in related areas
Publications in reputable journals or conferences
Familiarity with deep learning algorithms & frameworks
Experience with speech processing toolkits such as Kaldi
SpeechBrain
Experience with version control systems like Git.
