About
Three-year, full-time doctoral employment at DTU Construct on sustainable living construction materials. Investigate fungal–bacterial interactions and microbial biomineralization, develop hydrogels and printable bio-inks, and characterize their performance for extrusion-based 3D printing. Collaboration includes DTU Bioengineering and TU Delft, with international research stays. Start is 1 February 2027 or by agreement. Requirements
Two-year master’s degree worth 120 ECTS or equivalent; hands-on fungal-cultivation and microbiological experience; and strong English communication. Biomineralization, biomaterials, polymers, hydrogels and 3D-printing experience are preferred. Submit one English PDF with a cover letter, CV, BSc/MSc diplomas, transcripts and grading-scale explanation. Applicants awaiting their master’s may apply but must complete it before starting; PhD admission requires academic approval.
