About

The AICell Lab, led by Wei Ouyang in the Department of Applied Physics at KTH and SciLifeLab and funded by the Data-driven Life Science Fellows programme, builds AI systems for data-driven cell and molecular biology. The postdoc will develop and evaluate AI research assistants and multi-agent systems that support scientific workflows, connect researchers with expertise and research infrastructure, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. The project is part of an EU-supported initiative to widen access to research infrastructures, notably the Euro-BioImaging network, and explores AI agents and AI-driven discovery in the life sciences.

The role combines independent research with project coordination, science communication and work with European infrastructure partners (reference PA-2026-3836).

Requirements

Doctoral degree (or equivalent) by the employment decision and good English. Preferred: PhD within three years of the deadline; experience with scientific data analysis, machine learning, large language models or AI agents; project coordination; interest in user-centred interface design.
