PostDoc in Embodied Neuromorphic Intelligence

Develop embodied neuromorphic robots that connect perception, learning, decision-making and control. In Chiara Bartolozzi’s Event-Driven Perception for Robotics unit, research can involve event-based sensing, spiking neural networks, local learning, multisensory integration and adaptive closed-loop behaviour. The two-year collaboration contract is based at IIT’s Centre for Robotics and Intelligent Systems. The advertised gross annual pay range is EUR 35,000–45,000.

A PhD in computational neuroscience, neuromorphic engineering, computer science or a related discipline; documented spiking-network or spike-driven-learning experience; strong publications; and English proficiency.
