Postdoc in Soil Microbiome Assembly - DTU Bioengineering

A two-year postdoc investigating soil microbiome assembly and its implications for the use of soil inoculants. The project applies theoretical concepts from ecology and evolutionary biology to design effective strategies for engineering soil microbiomes. The postdoc joins the team of Professor Jennifer Martiny in the Section of Microbial and Chemical Ecology at DTU Bioengineering and helps establish, maintain and sample large-scale field experiments, with fieldwork locally and internationally. Start by agreement, preferably early 2027.

A PhD (or equivalent); independence, organisational skills and willingness to conduct fieldwork; team or supervision experience preferred.
