Postdoctor in psychology with a focus on environment and sustainability

A two-year, full-time postdoctoral position in the Department of Psychology, Umeå University, within the project "The social foundation for acceptance of climate adapted forest management". The project studies acceptance of climate-adapted forest management among different groups in Sweden, drawing on theory and research on social identity and other collective processes such as social norms and shared goals. The work includes analysis of survey data and the design, implementation and analysis of an experimental study.

The project is funded by the Marianne and Marcus Wallenberg Foundation as part of the Wallenberg Initiatives in Forest Research (WIFORCE). The position is 100% research; latest start 31 March 2027 (reference AN 2026/1176).

Doctoral degree in psychology or a relevant field within the time limits stated in the advert.
