Postdoctoral Fellow - College of Engineering - Department of Chemical Engineering (process systems engineering)

The Laird research group in Carnegie Mellon's Department of Chemical Engineering seeks a postdoctoral researcher for data analysis, application development and research in process systems engineering. Core work advances optimisation-based conceptual design for new process development and improved process understanding, and develops open-source tools for training and optimising machine-learning surrogate models. The postdoc interacts with several faculty members in the department and with industrial and federal project sponsors.

Doctorate in chemical engineering or a related field; 1-3 years of experience in process systems engineering and/or bioprocess modelling.
