Postdoctoral Fellow in Heterogeneous Catalysis

Three-year postdoctoral position in heterogeneous catalysis at the Department of Energy and Petroleum Engineering, University of Stavanger, in the Horizon Europe project BioHAVEN (Boosting H2 production from high water content biowaste with negative carbon emissions), a collaboration of eight European countries and India. BioHAVEN advances hydrogen production through a thermochemical route combining hydrothermal gasification, gas separation and methane pyrolysis of biogenic waste with high water content; UiS develops and tests catalysts for hydrothermal gasification and for methane pyrolysis.

The position includes teaching and supervision as career-promoting work. Salary NOK 590,000-680,000 per year (code 1352).

PhD in heterogeneous catalysis; good English; process simulation software (Aspen Plus/HYSYS) and related experience are valued.
