Job Description
The ATLAS Muon Group seeks a postdoctoral researcher in experimental particle physics. The researcher will lead Run 3 Higgs analyses, focusing on off-shell Higgs production into Z-boson pairs or tau-lepton decays and hadronic-tau reconstruction. The group also develops FPGA trigger processors; hardware participation is optional. A particle-physics PhD and substantial data-analysis experience are required. Programming, machine learning, and statistical-fitting experience are useful.
