Postdoctoral researcher in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry

A postdoctoral position at the Department of Chemistry - BMC, Uppsala University, whose research covers analytical chemistry, biochemistry and organic chemistry. The project develops non-covalent supramolecular complexes and uses them to create new synthetic methods; the postdoc will carry out organic synthesis and spectroscopic characterisation within synthetic organic chemistry, and will help support younger researchers in the lab. The department sits at the Biomedical Centre, close to biology, pharmacy, medicine and SciLifeLab groups (reference UFV-PA 2026/3311).

Doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in organic chemistry, with extensive knowledge and practical experience of method development, catalytic transformations and mechanistic organic chemistry; an organised, structured way of working.
