About
Kristina Johnell’s group at the Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics uses Swedish register data to study medication use, safety, COVID-19 and deprescribing in older adults. The researcher will develop questions and study designs, manage and analyse large datasets, interpret results, lead scientific articles and contribute to supervision, grant applications and collaborations. This full-time position in Solna is initially for two years, with possible extension. Applications through Varbi close on 26 October 2026.
Requirements
PhD or equivalent competence in medical science, epidemiology, pharmacology or a related field by the employment decision; relevant published research, independent large-data analysis, statistical programming in R, Stata, SAS or equivalent, and excellent English. Submit a PhD certificate, CV, publications and a one-page current-work summary. A PhD within the last three years is advantageous, with exceptions.
