About

The ALGOSH and DIGILONG projects study how algorithmic management and digital platform work affect working conditions and health. The researcher will combine longitudinal surveys with Swedish population registers, develop questions and analytical strategies, lead publications and collaborate with PhD students. Methods may include longitudinal causal inference, target trial emulation, mediation, machine learning and complexity-informed approaches, chosen to answer substantive occupational-health questions.

The full-time, two-year position is based at the Unit of Occupational Medicine in Solna. Applications through Varbi close on 25 October 2026; interviews take place during the application period.

Requirements

PhD in epidemiology, public health, occupational health or a related field with substantial epidemiology, completed by the employment decision. Strong study-design and quantitative skills, longitudinal research, independent complex-data analysis, R/Stata/SAS/Python, publications and excellent English. Prior algorithmic-management expertise is not required. Submit the PhD certificate, CV, publications and a one-page current-work summary.
