Postdoctoral Researcher in III–V Colloidal Quantum Dot Surface Chemistry and Ligand Engineering
Surface Chemistry, Nanochemistry and postdoctoral position at KAUST
Apply by Friday, Dec 4 at 04:59 UTC
About
The researcher will develop colloidal quantum-dot chemistry for infrared optoelectronics. Work emphasizes surface passivation, ligand exchange, trap suppression, doping and energy-level alignment, including III–V and other infrared nanocrystals. The role connects synthesis and spectroscopy with processable inks and collaborations on photodetectors. Applications close on 3 December 2026 at 23:59 US Eastern time.
Requirements
PhD in chemistry, materials science, nanoscience or a related field. Strong experience with colloidal nanocrystal synthesis, air-free Schlenk or glovebox methods, ligand engineering and spectroscopic characterization, supported by a research publication record.
