Job Description
We seek individuals proficient with the development and testing of novel transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) methods to evaluate research questions related to free will, consciousness, sense of agency, and higher brain functions.
Requirements
- The preferred applicant will have a doctoral degree in the areas of human motor neurophysiology
- motor systems neuroscience or motor control. Since the project will extensively use TMS methods
- experience in the use of non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (e.g. TMS
- tDCS
- tES
- Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS)) is also preferred.
- Desired skills for this position include knowledge in several of the following: psychometrics/psychophysics
- TMS
- EEG
- source and electric-field modeling
- computational modeling
- and cognitive neuroscience. Individuals with a Ph.D. in psychology
- neuroscience
- cognitive science
- neurobiology
- engineering or related fields are encouraged to apply.
